  1. I’m amazed at your talent. The embroidery is beautiful and I love the clothes you’ve made. Saw your post over at Burda. I’m working on quilts right now but hopefully will get back to doing clothes again. You’re really inspiring.


    • Donna, thank you so much for your very kind words! I’ve been crafting my entire life but still have so much to learn. I find sewing clothing to be really satisfying because my projects immediately get put to good use, and (in theory) I save money by not buying RTW clothes. Best of luck with your quilts! 🙂


  2. I follow your blog through WordPress, which is wonderfully convenient, but that also means the reader misses the opportunity to see the “full” site. So today I clicked through a different way and found this segment of your blog. Like you, I’ve set goals to improve my sewing (albeit I’m a step or two behind), and love how you have set goals and posted them. Thanks!
