BabyLock Imagine

Thanks to a very generous and thoughtful gift from my family, I was able to buy myself a little present yesterday.  It’s a Baby Lock Imagine serger, which I lovingly refer to as my Ferrari.  Many thanks also go to John for driving me down to Canton and patiently waiting in a store full of crazed women.

Much more to come on this once I unpack the Ferrari and take it for a test drive.  For now, I couldn’t resist sharing the news!  🙂

    • I hope you’re right! 🙂 I had pretty much convinced myself to get the 1034D after all the rave reviews, but as luck would have it, I was able to splurge a bit. I will be thanking my very supportive family for this for a long, long time. 🙂

  1. Yay, you’re going to LOVE it Carolyn – I have the same one purchased only a few months ago. We tossed a coin & it was decided my husband had to sell one of HIS kidneys so I could buy it! LOL It was worth every penny…& he doesn’t seem to miss that kidney TOO much! 🙂

    • Haha, Kathy, you are too funny!! 🙂 Yes, this was quite the investment and definitely WAY out of my normal sewing budget, but I do hope the performance is worth the price. I’m so glad you like yours – congrats on your new baby!

  2. Oh wow, super envious! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have an overlocker… I’m in the market, but I think Babylock is a bit out of my price range! Seems they really are the top of the lot 😉 Have fun!

    • Thanks Katy! The Babylock was definitely a splurge, but I’ve heard so many great reviews of the Brother 1034D, which is much more affordable but still a great serger. Hopefully you can find a good fit for your budget. It’s exciting to think about all the doors a serger will open! 🙂
